So Barack

Even before I was old enough to vote, Georgey W. has been our president.  His administrations war against Iraq, incompetence and a "more for the rich, less for everyone else" style of presidency disgusts and frustrates me.  I do not often express where I stand in regards to politics, besides the papers and speeches I did in college on the Drug War and the occasional drunken rant about being an anarchist.  I have done my best to ignore all news and conversation regarding the next presidential election and I believe that that is not who I am as a person.
So last night I decided to check out Barack Obamas' website and I really want him to be elected. He wants to leave Iraq, stabilize the economy, further our civil rights and be a world leader in the transition to renewable resources.
Anyway I really felt the need to express what I think about the presidency, and it is just talk, but i really think he is going to be a much needed change for our country.
p.s As much as I like the idea of being an anarchist I do not think that is what we need in this country quite yet.  Maybe more towards 2050 :)

Presidents Reputation is at all time low

Bush beats Harry Truman ... to set record for extended presidential unpopularity

President Bush has talked a lot about being a modern-day Harry Truman: a president who makes tough but unpopular decisions that will be appreciated by history, if not by his American contemporaries.

Scrooge McDucks Money Bin

This is a set of images documenting a model of the world's richest duck's money bin, built by me in 2002/3, using blueprints created by the great Don Rosa and Dan Shane. The blueprints are a part of the Rosa story "The Beagle Boys Vs. The Money Bin" from 2001. Visit this page to read Rosa's own words about the blueprints.

Rappers help Bill Cosby go hip-hop

Guests provide the rhymes for comedian’s new album with positive message

LOS ANGELES - Bill Cosby’s path has taken him from pudding pops to hip hop.

The 70-year-old has recorded a hip-hop album set for release next month. “Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency” blends the comedian’s concepts and stories with a hip-hop, pop and jazz soundtrack.

“I do not rap on any of these things,” Cosby said Monday. “I wouldn’t know how to fix my mouth to say some of the words.”
